This class will give students a foundation in creating and embodying believable performances on camera. Through exercises in listening, emotional awareness and improvisation, you will learn to think and feel as the character you are protraying. Through detailed script analysis, you will understand the use of intentions, beats and verbs to put meaning in the lines you are saying. Through performing on camera in each class, you will practice what you are learning using scenes from film scripts. The course will also cover the business side of being an actor, as well as, audition technique and what happens once you land a role.
