Making a film requires a successful collaboration between a diversity of on and off-screen talents. The director plays a key role in controlling a film's creative aspects by guiding both the actors and technical crew from pre-production all the way through to post-production.
This brand new workshop designed for up-and-coming filmmakers ages 13 - 17, will introduce the main responsibilities associated with becoming a film director. Students will learn how to best utilize different on-set talents including how to work with and guide actors and all other crew members to ensure a fun and collaborative film set. Tips and guidelines for pre-production, shooting, post-production, and marketing will all be covered.
This course will meet on Saturday, December 1 from 1 PM - 5 PM (one-day workshop).
